Dirt 3

The main mode sees players earn reputation points in various events to gain the interest of sponsors who provide them with new vehicles. Flashbacks return from Dirt 2, which can be used up to five times in any difficulty, but cost reputation points to use.

A new gymkhana mode puts players in obstacle courses, challenging them to perform various tricks to earn points. Featured in the game are various party modes, involving events such as smashing wooden targets, spreading a zombie infection, and capture the flag.

Other new features include a Hardcore mode which limits players to the cockpit view with no assists, the appearance of rain and snow, and the ability to upload replay clips directly to YouTube.

Black Mirror II

Black Mirror II takes place in the 1990's, twelve years after the first episode. Solitary Darren, hero of Black Mirror II, meets cute Angelina while he is working at the local photo shop of Biddeford, a small town in New England.

Angelina immediately understands to catch the eye of Darren's despotic, unpopular boss. To add the mystery, there seems to be a third person interested in Angelina. He decides to investigate these incidents. His researches will soon lead him to several locations, such as the small English village of Willow Creek, that adventure game players know from part 1.

Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale

Daggerdale is actually the first videogame to use the 4th edition rule set, which has often been criticized or embraced partly for its more video game feel. So if you are looking for a replacement for pens, paper, dice, Cheetos, Mountain Dew and a DM, well you actually probably need to keep looking. Daggerdale leaves most of the roleplaying at the door and is pretty firmly in the hack and slash and loot category.

The Dungeons & Dragons rule set has then only loosely been applied over it all. Powers, stats, race, classes and feats are all there, but it's all been boiled down, and not in the refining the goodness kind of way. Classes and races come in four predetermined combos (human fighter, dwarven cleric, halfing wizard and elven rogue).

You are given stats and can upgrade them at certain levels, but they are set allocations from the start and there is no apparent benefit to not simply upgrading constitution and the stat most closely associated with your class. Feats make an appearance, but they also feel restrictive. Only a handful do something more than +1 attack or +1 damage to X specific weapon type. So ultimately characters of the same class really don't distinguish themselves.
